Report on Madhya Pradesh Model of Financial Inclusion: Samruddhi

Samruddhi was started in Madhya Pradesh with the objective of financial inclusion in the state. An impact assessment of the programme was undertaken by the United Nations Development Programme and Department of Rural Development, Panchayat and Social Justice of Madhya Pradesh to understand the success of the initiative, opportunities and way forward. Further, international practices being adopted in other countries were brought in this report as reference case studies. This report documents in detail the journey of the Samruddhi programme, the methodology for assessment of the impact of the programme and results & recommendations.
