The concept notes seeks to create, among other things, a -
- A Business Case for PFM Professionalisation in South Africa.
- A South African PFM Professionalisation Framework (i.e. PFM Sector Qualifications Framework).
- A five-year implementation plan for PFM Practitioners in National and Provincial Departments as well as Municipalities to institutionalise PFM Professionalisation.
- A set of Guidelines which will facilitate the institutionalisation of PFM Professionalisation in Municipalities and Provincial and National Departments.
